We tasted this wine with Manuel from the winery, it's a very fruit forward and modern style of Rioja. Wild Strawberries and herbs with an inkling of Sweet Spice. Oak is used sparingly but is noticeable on the finish.

Sourced from vineyards situated close to the magnificent Ch Petrus, this is a proper Right Bank Bordeaux. Merlot dominated, quite dry on the attack. Comes into its own when served with roast beef or lamb.

NOSE Good intensity aromas of which highlights the fruits of various kinds with good maturity and expressiveness, flowers, sweet spices, toasted flavors and scrubland. PALATE The palate is tasty, with good balance and quite round, also shows vividness and character, fresh and soft tannins, the aftertaste quite well with almost all the aromas of the nose.
