Located on the great plateau of Pomerol and made from 2 small parcels of vines in the village of Riffat. Marrying power with finesse this would be a great gift for a lover of Bordeaux and will age well if tucked away.

With hand-picked fruit from a site close to the church of Pomerol, this wine is stunning. The blend is 90% Merlot, with the rest being Cabernet. First tasted with Emeric from Vinectar and was blown away. Ripe red fruit and subtle oak, unmistakably Bordeaux, dryish finish. Such a pleasure to drink.

Flavours of dried Sultanas and Dates in the background behind a just ripe Plummy taste to the fore. This wine comes into its own when served with food, particularly roasted red meats.
