An exemplary Cotes-Du-Rhone from and acclaimed producer. Loads of ripe Brambly fruit with Red Berries and characteristic herbaceous undertones. Great with hearty stews or rare red meats.

Superb example of the Sauvignon grape, crisp and intense with steely minerality so indicative of Sancerre. Classy and with a great mouth-feel, would pair beautifully with delicate white fish dishes or Loire valley goats cheese!

There is no doubt in my mind that if this were a Central Otago Pinot Noir you would pay £18 no problem! Don't let the drab label fool you this is the real deal. Rich, meaty and complex. Drinking beautifully now.
