There is no doubt in my mind that if this were a Central Otago Pinot Noir you would pay £18 no problem! Don't let the drab label fool you this is the real deal. Rich, meaty and complex. Drinking beautifully now.

Beautiful "Green Wine", meaning young, from Portugal. Apple and Grapefruit merge elegantly along with an almost imperceptible spritz on the tongue. A lovely, light summery wine or the perfect palate cleanser before a good meal.
-
Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes in Piedmont Italy. Dark Berry and Toasted Oak on the nose with the palate delivering Plum, Mocha and Clove. Grainy tannins make this an excellent food wine.

Made in "The Land of the Stars" the image of the Southern Cross is shown on the label. This crisp lively Sauvignon is well balanced with flavours of Melon and Pink Grapefruit. Easy on the palate and the pocket, a nice weekday glugger.

In the foothills of the Andes around 1100m above sea level, Malbec grapes are able to express themselves fully, giving complex and elegant wines far removed from the "fruit bombs" often associated with Argentinian Malbecs. Soft easy drinking and inviting. Great with a steak.

Sooo much wine for the money! Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet combine in this inky purple, Brambly, dense, rich belter. Repeatedly awarded 90+ points from serious critics. A must for the lovers of full bodied Reds.
-
Concentrated Black Fruit with layers of Plum and Spice, well integrated tannins and subtle use of oak, result in an extremely satisfying and rich finish. Pound for pound one of the biggest wines in store. Superb with rare steak.

A classic Extremadura Cava from Almendralejo, Tropical Fruit aromas and a delightfully Creamy, rich and Biscuity finish. A real stunner for the money!

Sale!Tasted this with the sole importer and was blown away. Such a complex, earthy and subtle... yet powerful Malbec, from the tiny Agrelo region, 20 miles south of Mendoza. Home to some of Argentina's most famous wine estates. Agrelo's terroir is considered to be some of the best for the production of big, complex red wines made from the Malbec grape. If you like Malbec this is for you. Similarly if you like Riojas & Bordeaux wines that have been aged to perfection and are showing that extra class and complexity. This wine is drinking beautifully right now but will keep for a further 2-3 years.
