Very dense colour for such a good value wine. Smoky ripe berry fruits and balanced tannins deliver a lovely concentrated finish.

Smooth, easy drinking and up there with the more well known Chilean and French Merlots... Great wine growing country in the Dolomites give great character and depth to this otherwise unassuming variety.
