This food friendly wine is made high up in the San Juan Valley, in North west Argentina. Surrounded by the Andes and a hot dry climate. This is a vibrant and intensely fruity wine with a powerful finish.

A 100% Tempranillo from vines aged between 20 and 60 years. 24 months ageing in barrel gives plenty, though not excessive oak. Glorious ripe Red Fruit and a soft supple mouth-feel. Beautiful with Lamb dishes.

We tasted this wine with Manuel from the winery, it's a very fruit forward and modern style of Rioja. Wild Strawberries and herbs with an inkling of Sweet Spice. Oak is used sparingly but is noticeable on the finish.

Bright ruby in colour this is a soft, expressive Merlot from the Central Valley in Chile. Easy-drinking enough to drink on its own but will also work well with a Sunday roast.
