Home to some of Argentina's most famous wine estates. Agrelo's terroir is considered to be some of the best for the production of big, complex red wines made from the Malbec grape. If you like Malbec this is for you. Similarly if you like Riojas & Bordeaux wines that have been aged to perfection and are showing that extra class and complexity. Superb example of the Sauvignon grape, crisp and intense with steely minerality so indicative of Sancerre. Classy and with a great mouth-feel, would pair beautifully with delicate white fish dishes or Loire valley goats cheese!

We tasted this wine with Manuel from the winery, it's a very fruit forward and modern style of Rioja. Wild Strawberries and herbs with an inkling of Sweet Spice. Oak is used sparingly but is noticeable on the finish.
